  i think that since i am the sole wage-earner in our household, i need to make it clear to my wife that i don't want any of my hard-earned wages going to the wt.

  i know she makes a monthly contribution to an animal shelter and i am fine with that.

  what do you think?

  What Exactly are the Governing Body Members of the Jehovah's Witnesses trying to sell themselves As ?

  the watchtower corporation has been in existence for over 100 years now, originally headed by presidents and slew of recognized executive directors known as governing body members.. in 1919 the then president of the wts j rutherford proclaimed that god has exclusively chosen him and the wts as its earthly chosen organization among all other christian based faiths.. was this just a calculated self marketing ploy to create validation and to draw attention to the wts published works ?

  the gb today still uses the assertion that god is backing this organization with that attaining exclusivity by god, jehovah blesses are work and jehovah had offered this, is constant reiterated in about every talk during most jws meetings.

  is this just intentional adverse brainwashing ?

  They are trying to sell themselves as caring loving old grampa's that have only the best interest of the flock they have been chosen by Jehovah to guide to an everlasting reward and so they must be listened to and obeyed.

  I think that represents a sorta corporate motto for these over the hill delusionalist.

  Zone Visit - Sri Lanka Governing Body member David Splane

  last sunday (23rd february 2015) we had our zone visit ( visit headquarters representative).

  this time governing body member david splane and brother john ekrann came to sri lanka.

  and they spent almost one week in sri lanka.. .

  These guys on the Governing Body are showing their true colors, which is very very good, the more they are going to send the rank and file out the door, and then less money, a snow ball effect were they become more and more blatant in asking for more money to make up for those leaving.

  I say let them keep it up it will bring them down faster!

  JWs and the making of many books

  ecc 12:12 - "to the making of many books there is no end, and much devotion [to them] is wearisome to the flesh.".

  i just never could keep up with all the jw reading material.

  as a zealous jw, it was my desire to read every word published by the org, but i just couldn't do it.

  Yeah this is a phrase in the bible that the Governing Body need to take seriously in fact the entire writing department who write the crappy books full misquotes and delusional thinking about being God's earthly organization. There should be hanging a banner over the entire printing operation, of all bethels through out the world. It seems they always miss the meaning of that scripture some how because they feel God wants them to print books when right there in the book of proverbs(one of many(books that is(oh this is so wearisome(another book about books) it say God hate books and also a higher education that why the Governing Body are so dumb.

  New "donation" arrangement begins to FAIL

  so here we are, almost a year into the "new" congregation donation arrangement.

  and its beginning, as was predicted, to fail miserably, and to have direct negative consequences on the poor sheep.. let me give you a little experience, directly from our congregation of about 80 publishers.

  back in may, after reading the letter about the "new" arrangement, the elder body decided to "donate" the extra funds on hand to wt, as directed.

  This money grab by those crooks/Governing Body/WT Corporation and forcing a pledge for a regular dollar amount will have some very serious repercussions on future donations, I bet that 95% of the congregations are not making their pledged amount and these negative CO visits pummeling ain't really going to help they are making themselves adversaries by this and many will wake up and stop giving. And so more pummeling and more negativity this might spawn a mass exodus as more and more get sick and tired of these belly aching speeches from these Corporation bosses.

  Governing Body Member Stephan Lett Lies On JW.TV

  i thought it would be important to clearly point in the recent talk by governing body member stephan lett, that he did in fact deliberately lie concerning what he described as lies and false information by apostates, concerning the organization being permissive toward people in the organization who had been involved in pedophilia.

  the truth of the matter is thats exactly what the organization has been doing and perhaps for a long time.

  the recent candace conti law suit where she was awarded 28 million dollars was levied against the wts for its irresponsible behavior by the elders who gave no notification of the accused jonathan kendrick that he had been charged with pedophilia and spent months in jail for his actions .

  I hope the Zalkin law firm supenas Lett to testify in one of his lawsuit cases and call him on the carpet for such outrageous remarks.

  It would be nice if both videos (his testimony in court and his lies for the corporation) are shown side by side to show what a two faced liar he is, and take some of the wind out of his sails because he's nothing but a blow hard liar..

  link to the video (10m06s).. skip to 7:35 where he says: "another way we can contribute to the oneness - rejecting false stories that are designed to separate us from jehovah's organization.

  as an example, think about the apostate-driven lies and 'dishonesties' that jehovah's organization is permissive toward pedophiles.

  So let me get this right, the rank and file are to think that when they hear a report about the police arresting a JW pedophile, a jury finding them guilty and a judge passing sentence it is all lies!!
